Bio

ANNE MARIE WARD is a creative, editor, researcher, and writer living in NEW YORK CITY! She is most often known as Anne Marie or AM, by those who don’t wish to say the whole thing.

She was born in Union County, New Jersey, and lived in Roselle Park for a very brief time, before her parents decided that they were lacking in cornfields and black bears and moved to Warren County in Northwest Jersey, bordering the PA state line. After some modest success with a 3rd-grade vocabulary assignment, Anne Marie’s teacher declared that she would make a great writer, and that’s what Anne Marie decided she would do.

She continued writing throughout secondary school, as well as studying graphic design, before moving to The Bronx to attend Fordham University, where she is earning a BA in Comparative Literature and English, with a Creative Writing concentration and Spanish minor. During her time in NYC, she has done her best to see the sights and learn new skills.

She is particularly fond of the MoMA PS1 in Queens and The Mandarin Duck of Central Park. She also enjoys yoga, which helps her recover from her newest hobby, roller skating—very poorly—and also from life’s general stress. She is detail-oriented, passionate, and enthusiastic about all her projects.
